This allows textile use over a huge range of applications at prices comparable to non-antimicrobial fabrics.

Cotton Mouton Diagnostics (CMD) is a biomedical company focused on the development of rapid biodetection systems for both laboratory and point-of-need applications. Based on an innovative and proprietary magneto-optical technology, the CMD platform can deliver single and multi-analyte sensing solutions at low cost. Drinking water, in many developed countries, has stringently controlled standards. Therefore, it is hard to imagine that water for human use delivered through taps, shower heads and other sources within buildings could contain harmful pathogens. However, water distribution systems are increasingly recognised as a source of infection, particularly in areas with immunocompromised patients.

Pall Medical offers a broad product portfolio covering water system monitoring and environmental surveillance, and specialised filtration from the point of building entry through the point of use at taps, showers and other water sources. This portfolio assures the highest filtration efficiency for particles and waterborne pathogens in water networks and supports comprehensive water safety plans.
